StoneBridge Opens
BRANDON - On May 16, Marcus Martin
Builder and Heartland Development Company hosted the
grand opening of the Stonebridge community in this
Rankin County city. The event included a free crawfish
boil, hot air balloon rides, live music, space jumps,
face painters and T-shirts.
StoneBridge, which backers say is
the biggest development Brandon has seen in over 40
years, is a $250-million mixed-use development that has
been professionally planned and designed, including
StoneBridge's 200-foot custom bridge, which serves as an
inviting entrance to the community. The community's
list of amenities include a central clubhouse and pool,
a 16-court professional tennis center and an
approximately 52-acre lake.
The development will also have
sidewalks that will connect the community to more than
75 acres of commercial / retail space including an
assortment of upscale retail establishments and
restaurants.
Marc Marin of locally-based Marcus
Martin Builder said, "We always appreciate the
opportunity to give back to Brandon and Rankin County,
and we look forward to helping showcase Brandon's newest
community."
